Churches Deceiving Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Churches Deceiving

Some churches are not the right thing
Though biblical names are used
Though God is mentioned when they sing
By such! be not confused

Look in their bible for Jesus Christ
If He's not God's true Son
Rose from the dead, though sacrificed
With all life's victories won

If not explained, as man, Christ came
Though God, Life's Lord, eternal
Righteously in His own name
Conquering, the infernal

A man of truth, full grace, full love
Not everyone to please
Guide to lost sheep repentant above
Healer of all disease

Jesus alone, can win the day
Keep safe mankind at night
Can teach to walk Salvation's way
Putting devils to flight

Never losing, always winner
Never facing defeat
Helping the weak, every sinner
Crying at Jesus feet

So a true church should speak of Him
To Christ alone should bow
All else would cause man's eyes to dim
Their soul devils allow

Who'd believe in anything less
Hoping to turn life's tide
Who would to liars, shame confess
In such a church, abide.....
