Cigarette Skin Poem by Darren Hough

Cigarette Skin

I'd light a cigarette
To wear it on my skin
But the satisfaction of the burn
Demands more work than I'm willing to put in
To go to the store and buy a fresh pack
I don't deserve the pleasure I could never get back
I'd rather lay here as if I were nothing
Than reward myself with the luxury of feeling something
