Cities Acclaimed at End of Fall:
{Human Beauty at Spring]

Spirit sides with human beauty
At spring cities acclaimed at
End of fall shrink to towns with
Names hung out to cry rivers
Through dry fields
Nothing makes any sense for the
Love of cities save human beauty
Living there - which one makes
Covetous life to suffer more
When ever thought gets close
Body language exposes jealousy
And what it has to say
Face heard exposes
The self indulged found in a spot
Of shade cooling it in long silences
Get personal
The laborers survive as fathers
Back in the apartments
Received caretakers of cemetery
Grounds for planting
Regeneration spread to receive
And retain the cities living
With the spirit passing
People start leaving cities
Leaving the innocent
Black and brown ones
To the white of poverty
Policing each to confined
Spaces - City dialects appreciated
Once love songs of birdsong heard
Passion fools the core
Hardens the heart from speaking
And singing with the soul
To make her boast to The Spirit
And that’s the truth of spirit and
Peace and grace made new melodies
By town criers
How a town sounds when
Returned to another city.
