Clarity Poem by Leo Yankevich

Clarity

Rating: 3.2

This God-gifted dawn,
dawn of brilliant leaves
and dew-dampened clover—

wakes the drowsy senses,
telling them to proclaim
joy and adoration.

But the mind sees beetles
slain along a path,
and wishes for more clarity.
