Class Angel Poem by Katrina Lusk

Class Angel

God took an Angel
the day you left this place.
A shocking accident it was.
But all we see,
is the smile on your face.
Everyone has different ways
of coping with grievance.
It shows in each classroom,
and as we're walking down the halls.
Many of us lost a classmate,
and others lost a friend.
There are no questions answered,
to why your journey had to end.
You're in Heaven now,
and that's where you'll stay.
Smiling and watching over us
until Graduation day...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My Junior year of High School my class suffered the devastating loss of one of our own Graduating classmates. A gentlemen we are grew up with. He had his future already planned out and because of a patch of ice in the blink of an eye that was all over.
