Drowning in shades of grey
I anticipate
Walls with ears,
Eyes, big mouths,
Arms grabbing me,
Tying me
With white silken
spidery threads
smearing my visage
with vivid colours,
decorating my head
with a halo of dead leaves,
knotting my neck into a bow stuck
on a gift for the wedding.
