Claustrophobic Paranoia Poem by Ali Rahimi

Claustrophobic Paranoia

I am looking at the robust omnipresent walls around me,
That often surround me,
Away from the boisterous crowd,
No soul to converse with,
No heart to relate to, yes absolute solitude,
God, I am metamorphorsized into my own self, ego,
Narcissistic self admiration of a sickly psyche,
The walls are looking back in surprise,
They have their surmise,
I am wall-bound, am destined to a ‘'mural love''
In love with the symmetry,
Vigor, self-sacrifice, loyalty of the walls around me!
Every night they whisper into my ears:
You are confined to your own mind games, your own doubts,
Just denying the pleasure, fun, ecstasy of flesh and hormones,
The joy of body commanding the neurons,
But the walls have also scars and bruises,
Memories of the hands with no mercy,
The man's unfeeling touch, hits, mayhem, ruin and strikes,
Yes, We will all rot in the grave, grim coffins,
Claustrophobic Life, Claustrophobic Death ……..
