Clear And Present Danger (Fred Verse)

There are some people
Who may find my comments
About radar and lidar use in California
As 'clear and present danger'
In That if thier use
Were deemed in violation of
V.C.40801
Lawless speeding might occur
Yet radar and lidar
Are nothing more than
High tech portable speed traps
Seeing that
As soon as a law enforcement officer pulls the trigger
They create a high tech version of a speed trap
As defined in CA V.C.40802A (a)
Which in turn
Should make V.C.40802 (b) null and void
But I personally
Believe that if the use
Of radar and lidar is banned in California
Law enforcement would be forced to
Police and patrol
To enforce the speed laws
And do their jobs legally
By not violating established laws
Life would go on
As it did before radar and lidar
Came into existence
And fewer accidents
Might occur
From those drivers who panic
When the drive into
Ambush speed traps
That utilize radar and lidar
I might be in violation of
'Clear and present danger'
In my opinion
If I state that I will take
My knowledge of possible
strategic metals locations
Wherever the are located
Whether here in the U.S.
Or other locations to China
Or some other country
And form a partnership with them
To develop and extract
Said metals
Instead of America
But who is to say
WHAT IF
