Clear Sky - Poem by gail mcdonald

A clear sky at dawn
A blank page,
A clean slate,
What a way to start
A day with God!

Not knowing what
The day holds
Allows for
Pleasant speculation

Something I hear,
Perhaps a thought,
A burst of creativity,

Something I will say,
Or do,
Or even think.

Perhaps the little clouds
Just peeping over the treetops
Will entertain me
Or bring rain.

I'll wait with God
and see His plans unfold.
