Never felt this way about anyone before.
Never knew I had so much love to give.
Can't imagine how much you, I love and adore.
All my life with you I wanted to live.

Now that you have slipped out of my hand.
I realise how much you had meant to me.
You were much more than my soul mate and best friend.
You were the blood in my veins and the air I breathe.

Even though you far are from my reach.
And you may have been ripped out of my life.
Even though there are lessons life's trying to teach.
And each moment feels like a thousand stabbing knife.

Even though I can no longer see you again.
And not hear your voice as often as I did.
Even though I may not hold you in my arms again.
And kiss you and hug you as i did.

I know every moment I had with you is fresh in my mind.
Close my eyes and there you are near, so near.
I don't have to go far and nothing hard to find.
Close my eyes and listen, your voice i can readily hear.

When I am feeling low and sad.
I take a moment to read all what to me you wrote.
And it gives my heart a reason to be glad.
Thinking of the time we to each other did devote.

I close my eyes when you I terribly miss.
And there you are, looking at me with a smile.
And I just felt on my face, you giving a kiss.
Oh, for the real one I would come running a thousand mile.

You have given me so much to remember.
You live so freely in my soul and heart.
With you in love I will be forever.
Will always cherish the life with you I hoped to start.
