POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Close strangers
It is strange that those closest to us are strangers
Strange bed fellows, spouse, parent- child, brother- friend and fellow travelers
Turning on your side and a few words of heart felt love and care is the only distance Between you and wife or beloved a few ‘light years' is the mental distance.
Those who are closed to us in relationship, distance and time spent
Why a simple sincere sharing appears a difficult achievement?
Is it because we are too close familiar and immune to each other?
A sad fate for family and friends lonely but together!
Like lonely in a crowd even a joint family there is no escape from quality dialogue
Or else, we are to face a generation and gender gap, even a break
Life seems to have lost it's moorings and break
We must establish a warm body- mind and soul dialogue.
We are to cultivate compassion and empathy
We are to step into other shoes and not just an advisory sympathy
And equal's communion in intimacy
A community of free individuals with internet of silky delicacy!
