Closer
I've been dreaming
as someone I thought I was
I've been dreaming
of our happily ever after
But then there are tests
that we must pass
Which brings us closer
to ourselves
And every night
I see the stars in front of me
and always hope for a shooting star to fly by
But then the wind blows
and I close my eyes
And everything's gone.
