Clouds Poem by keemusabi tzu

Clouds

where are the clouds
its so hot
i need some protection
from the mighty sun
the heat is turning my colour
as it would a fruit
sitting out to long
brown tone
coming from the burn
just like a apple rots away
or skin wrinkling
as a dried fruit
with no water
the sun turns the fruit so sweet
but sitting in it too long
just rotts and and wrinkles
the body away
we jump and run
swim and play
in the water all day
not knowing
too much of anything
can it be that good
i need my rain clouds
to make my fruit grow
its time for a happy heart
