Cloudy Skies Poem by Belinda Richmond

Cloudy Skies

Cloudy skies
Up so high
Slowly drifting as
the days go by
The skies are gray
Oh, What a day
The Overcast has
Ran the Shine away
The Sun is shielded and
Tucked in tight
The clouds are shielding
The Day of Light
Cloudy skies,
A day of gloom,
Darkness has settled
The Light is consumed but
Look Alive,
The sky up high
The Sun begins to shine
So high in the sky
The Clouds have broken,
A day has awoken
The Sun Shines Bright
Given a marvelous sight
Bringing to us
an exquisite delight
Of an illumination of
Shining Light! ! ! ! !
