Coffee With Jack Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Coffee With Jack

Too much coffee now I'm jack Kerouac
I race along and the pages do stack
But what they mean I really do not know
Just write away maybe time will tell though

Speeding along like it's amphetamine
So long since I slept, burn up on caffeine
Research information constantly
For knowledge I seek determinedly

Head full of data it hurts when I think
Critical mass maybe I'm on the brink
I must slow down now and so integrate
Moving so quickly I just cannot wait

I think from now on I'll drinks cup o' tea
For I'll have a stroke, sleep permanently
