Coffin Poem by Marisa Unknown

Coffin

Lying in the ground, his fists start to pound
on this coffin door above his head.

He screamed and clawed until he bled.
All he wanted was her,
but she was not willing to love once again
with feelings so chilling.

She still walks the earth with pain in her eyes and she still goes to bed warmed by a blanket of lies.

She misses his everything, that little boy she loved.
He reached out for help but all she gave was a shove.

Over the brink this boy fell,
dead before he hit the ground.
And missing him now, her feelings have come on unbound.
