Coffin Builder Poem by Ashley Mejia

Coffin Builder

Rating: 4.5

Empty inside, Instant demise
A blacken heart; a tainted soul
Every day a fight for more gold.
Building a legacy out of sticks and stones
Waiting for the day there will be no more.
Crashing, breaking
Breathing, burning
Death a seen threat
Just waiting to break our necks.
Digging my own grave
Not as brave as they all say.
Stupidity leading to my demise
Soon comes the day
That in my coffin I will lay.

This is good. I like how the words flow and the repetition of some words but with their different ideas being used. Good write. Keep it up. I give it a 9.
