Coincidentally Poem by serena dalton

Coincidentally

I stood there grudgingly, as you walked right infront of me.
I couldn't believe how you said you loved and missed me the week before and now acted as if i wasn't once yours.
The pain broke my heart to the core.
The night began, and you were gone again.
So i walked timidly up the stairs.

I've re-entered the world I once ran from.
It's time to put the 'smile' back on and laugh my way through the night.

So i walked through the darkness, into the flashing lights and music, and quietly took my seat at table eighteen.
Then coincidentally you get placed next to me, with just one person in-between.

I debated all evening whether to say somethin to you, or wait for you to acknowledge me, but all those emotions faded away, as I felt the soft touch of your hand brush along my skin.

As i stood there looking at you, while you sat there on the step,
all I could think is 'God I want him back.'
Then you told me to sit beside you, with your smart aliac remarks, i couldn't help but smile.

Once I looked into your radiant blue eyes, i knew i was done for.
I couldn't resist, I had to feel your kiss!

The way my lips gently kissed yours, but with such intensity in all the same time, and the way you caressed my inner thigh, our hearts beating nervously. I've never felt so loved all in one night.

Even though it broke my heart for you to drive off with that other girl, she was just your prom date, and i'm your love.
She can't fix fate.
