Cold Poem by JOY JOHNSON

Cold

Rating: 5.0

It's cold outside, I felt the draft
Grounds of hard frozen ice
Clumps of chips all flaky frosted white

I felt her pull, her mighty blow
A willow of wind wondering winded twisted ling sounds of whistling
Eardrum listen echoes ever eager evaporate

It is Winter
Mother Earth has taken a chill
She settles herself gently at peace she's still

Life is still animals hibernate, people cover up
Electrons circulate through the heat
Ringed shape she'll waves rainbow colored rays

It looks frosted, cupcake bush
Chilled sickles sparkle jacked edge ends
Sharpe point caught in the ice cracks polluted human dust

Be still move in motions music mimicking melody it's time to chill too cold
DON'T let the cold bug in burn cages

Everywhere drops of rainfall bubbles is sky
Cold water turned to ice she stop dripping
It's snowing the grounds are pure white

Night northern Van Foch Starry pillow lights
It's cold outside they take their time gliding way up high

The Earth has settled down to sleep
Pleasant dreams soft smooth sheath serenity
Whistles of wind blows snow settling onward to Spring
