They say “ I miss you”
“ I love you”
“ you are The one”

“ I miss you”.....
I’ve heard that before
Right before the night
I tried to cry and there were no tears
Oh come on! Woman!
Just one little tear...
He lied. He sneaked out
And dared to feel happy
With
someone else
He laughed with you
Kissed your forehead
And tickled you
Just to see your smile
He held you close
And made you feel at home
He picked the names for your children
And you let him
He told you he missed you
And you smiled!
So naive, so trusting, so blind
Tsk, tsk
You can do better than one lousy tear!
I don’t know
How.
