Cold Beginning Poem by Kporho Vwede Daniel

Cold Beginning

COLD BEGINNING
(General Ali ft. Onuwa Greg)

See what thou hath done
See what pain thou hath caused
Uninvited with thy masked scary face
Thou listen not to the plea of we humans
Thou silent beautiful bodies forever
Only a thief comes silently
And carry that which is not his
know something this day
Gone are the days I will fear thee
For thou is a new beginning
©ONUWA GREG

Thy loved ones do clothe
What a Beautiful cloth
Cold dry harmattan breeze forth
Blew the cold not only North
Naked sorrows of cold to swallow
Thy love ones he made Hallow
They lie beneath tombs for rose
Silence underneath with cold nose
Where that silent wicked thief led
Death! one day shall die, and be dead
©GENERAL ALI

May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Amen...
