With deafening silence, a daring leap I took,
To return to dear Surat's soothing chinook;
Recalling my friends' playful donnybrook,
And warmth of love shared at the inglenook,
Gave me great strength to gently overlook
Follies my friends may have partook.
Shreedhar Sir - a true, towering leader, look,
How confidently stands he, absorbed in a book,
With kind gestures, patience, a living guidebook.
Darshana Madam - a tender, caring tenterhook -
A bond that unites all, like a faithful logbook,
Inspires each head and stays in my good book.
Gajanan Sir - a wizard of chemistry, retook
The duty of TT and like me became schnook.
Pragna madam - an amiable, humane cook
With healthy juices and wisdom in her guidebook,
Rescued me gently from trouble's pothook.
Vibhuti madam - another gentle lamb, shook
The sleeping slogs slightly to slither casebook.
Vimmi madam - a mathematician, a lively cheque book
Of joy faces hurdles boldly, each step confidently partook.
Jaydeep Sir, our map and encyclopaedia, took
The job of superman, assisted with modern e-book.
Sudakshina madam - our Pasteur and calm snook -
Listens to all, a favourite microscope, never forsook.
Manju madam - another math wizard with skills, betook
The duty of a guide, a creative mind with crazy handbook.
Sheethu madam - a frank, confident friend and an inglenook,
Shares her experience to abide by school rules stook.
Devendra Sir - a tall, kind, genuine, generous Galileo
Shares thoughts and food alike, all with a good look.
Akhil Sir - a spirited player, a worthy bachelor, betook
‘Vistara' to heights of success, like a shining scrapbook.
Parul Madam - generous, soft-spoken textbook,
Encourages my efforts by noting in her logbook.
Rohit Sir - my friend and well-wisher, handles crook
Skilfully, scrutinises heads, throws party, overlook
My follies and helps with friendly fight workbook.
Mousami Madam, my adorable admin, helps me look
Better each day, sharing insights from her studbook,
Drizzles showers of kind words with a soothing look.
Isha, Brinda and Nikita - the silent force, partook
Duty of instilling fire - fighting back odd and shook
Misconceptions apart, helped exit process, undertook
Monetary matters and were blessing in disguise, took
Efforts to clarify my doubts many times with a good look.
And dear dear Janki madam, my cherished scrapbook,
In which I learnt highs and lows about crook.
A mentor, a perfectionist, a passionate rook;
Always behind me to erase gaffe in my brook.
Blessed am I with such great colleagues in a nook
Of Gujarat, shaping me beyond the common outlook,
And letting me differ the faces in the crowd, and cook
Carving a persona rich in wisdom we want to cook.
A heartfelt thanks to Kiran sir for giving me - a schnook -
A chance to improvise and polish my passbook
With Nikunj sir and Seven Habits - a cheque book -
That will transform each learner into a capable rook.
