Colors Poem by Anarat Fatima

Colors

The blue in her eyes,
That she tries to hide,
Is as clear as
The painted royal sky
The red on its peak
It beautifies her cheeks
And is caused by seeing
A smile showing his mystique
The lilac markings on her skin
They tell a story, different than her sins
She keeps it hidden, she keeps it close
She won't let him see, she won't let him in
Black, they say it brings fear with it
How should she say, it's all she lives in
Spring and colors, they mean nothing
For people like her, somethings are not meant to win 🌸🌌
