She put the ink of her soul on his life.
Then they said love blinded her.
So she painted him. A bold colour.
He started being her poetry and instantly, she became his poet.
She poured out her soul into the empty
Ocean he seemed to be and tried to fill him.
He was a vast colour of red, her painting.
He became one that all wished to grace their eyes with.
She understood that he was specifically,
To critically mend all her brokenness.
For his hugs were tight but warm,
Piecing her back to reality.
At least for a while it was all there was to life.
She was wrapped, swiftly in that lie.
