Looking back on the memories we shared
I thought I saw happiness in your stare
I didn't realize it didn't feel right to you
It was perfect to me and our problems few

I want so bad to tell you my heart
I want to confess feelings and restart
Will my chance ever come?  
Or for you will I always run?

I think back on the memories we shared
I think of the perfection of our pair
I want that back so bad
I don't ever want us to be mad

I just want you back in my arms
I just want the feeling of no alarm
I go to sleep now thinking of you
I dream of us and something new
