Come & Dine Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Come & Dine

When daily the bible reading
Hearken to Heaven's Voice
Harvest The Truth God's Seeding
Accept salvation's choice

Wisdom's of God, true knowledge too
Each, are His will to give
Most clear to Life's chosen few
Is Heaven's Way to live

Blind are the fools, life still wasting
Since Jesus chose to die
Heralding, those hearing, hasting
Gather what none can buy

Who are listening, Truth to find?
Hear death's rafters creaking
Who are the wisest, no longer blind?
True Life earnest seeking

Heaven has so much to offer
Secrets no man has heard
No rogue, no doubt filled Christ scoffer
Has seen, plain in God's word

I've heard, I've seen, truth now I know
No lie, Heaven will share
Whence from I come, where hence I go
Jesus is everywhere

But who are willing, who will agree?
Who'll seek treasure Divine
Whose faith's enough, who's eyes will see
Who'll share Heaven's sweet wine

Come to Life's Altar, Father, God's Son
Draw near, answer Fact's dare
Till true life's ring and crown's won
Dine on the richest of fare.....
