Come Mother Come.... Poem by Prabhakar Srivastava

Come Mother Come....

This cruel game of hide and seek
Isn't suitable for children so weak
Tears too tired now of constant fall
Come Mother come just once for all

Monotonous toys and tyring joys
Senseless dreams of girls and boys
They all for me but sheer insipid
Alas! Like others but isn't this kid
Lo! Each beat of heart began to call
Come Mother come just once for all

O Kali! Thou the darling of eternal Death
With infinite love and boundless wrath
Let Thy mystery make this world appall
But for Thy children, come once for all

Come Mother Come....
