Through that dark weather i persevered.
The merciless storm i had endured.
Till rays of light cut through grey clouds,
And heavy vapour disappear.
Then, the warmth of sunshine,
And cheerful light of lemon yellow tint.
Commands shadows to vanish away,
Making way for a peaceful scene.
But the humid soon left me dry,
I am in need of some moist.
I yearn for some water,
But not for a storm.
I called for what i missed.
But instead of returning mild,
All i got was a hurricane,
So angry and wild.
Where are you, O rain?
Come drench my soul.
Not with pouring waters,
Not with winds so cold.
But just drizzle ever so softly,
In balance with the sun.
Till a beautiful prism of colours appear.
A harmonious rainbow would be so fun.

Beautiful thoughts of soft rain and the power of the rainbow. I thoroughly loved this poem. Thanks
