Come To Jesus Poem by Pam Warden

Come To Jesus

Emotional scars wrack every nerve
Circumstances quite undeserved,
Pillow tears soak strands of hair
The mind gives way to deep despair...
Come to Jesus.

The physical body writhes in pain
Every movement masked by strain,
Once limber, lean, and full of life
Now imprisoned by disease and strife...
Come to Jesus.

The soul cries in despondent grief
Prayers rise to God for some relief,
Unanswered questions pound the mind
Heaven and heart seek to align...
Come to Jesus.

He loves you more than life itself
He gave up kingdoms, power, and wealth,
His blood was shed upon a cross
To redeem the world and save the lost...
Come to Jesus.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and
only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life." John 3:16

The Holy Bible, New International Version
