Come To Me (Lullaby) Poem by Kingsley Ukpanyang

Come To Me (Lullaby)

When you hurt yourself at play,
Come to me

Come to me
when the Sun beats down on you.

When strangers call to you,
Come to me

Come to me
when it begins to rain.

When the night falls, sweet child,
come to me;

When the forest beings display,
Fear not their eerie sounds, sweet one
For 't is in my arms you lay.
