Come With Me Poem by Joshua Swanson

Come With Me

I could sail all the worlds oceans,
And travel all the many, many lands,
And not find such powerful emotions,
As I feel stir within beneath your hands.
Whether I lie beside you or above,
You wake in me the rhythme of desire,
To share with you the highest peaks of love,
And quench once more the ever-burning fire.
Your name I know and yet I do not care;
For we are one, my heart is ever thine.
If god might grant me but a single prayer,
I would we might forever be entwined.
So I commit these words to humble ink,
To give to you, whatever you may think.
