Complexities Of Being Human Poem by Natalie Delgado

Complexities Of Being Human

The complexities of being human,
We know is nothing ever so simple.
All born with hopes to make a small ripple.
My ancestors came here illegally.
For my family to live regally.
We have come from absolutely nothing,
Work our asses off to become something
Fighting to make a difference is so hard.
So much going on; have to disregard.
Making sure to never let down my guard.
Now-a-days you see nothing but dangers.
Even some people you know become strangers.
I must remember to keep my distance,
and always make sure to stay consistent.
