i wonder. where is he/she going? ? ? ? military? prison? to take care of pressing family matters in another part of the country/world? ? ? i like the poem. it reads very well. to MyPoemList. but i think lie is preferred to lay in this: Brighter days lay ahead. even i have sometimes not been sure which form of lie or lay to use. bri :)
