Complicit Silence Poem by Lionara S.t.m.o.l

Complicit Silence

Things strangled snickering, whispers stop
They are cowards the toilet sages.
Initiated a crime was committed and they go,
hushed to the perpetrator and the victim's shame.

It is they, the moral of perpetrators
criminals with unpunished guilt.
Continue an irresponsible life,
They are accomplices and it will repeated.

The perpetrator they lick, is the gun they shine,
unlocked it with an outburst of anger.
To the victim avoid to speak,
they don't have good actor mask.

Laughs alone and emerges from the pain
for a society under smothered envy.

This is a translation of the poem Συνένοχη Σιωπή by Lionara S.T.M.O.L.
