Composure Poem by Collin Chepeka

Composure

Rating: 5.0

</>For when love,
Is not enough,
Declinable yet,
Undeniable,
You will peer into,
My gaze.
And you will sacrifice,
Pain of those past ways,

It being eternally binding,
A caress of a cheek,
Or your bout of laughter,
When I feel you is,
When I need you,
I will live to love,
And love to you,

Until it is forgotten,
I am only here,
To guide and care,
Not for the sake,
Of my own happiness,
Will shatter at the sight,
Of one swollen tear,
In one of your unmistakable eyes,

I is before U,
But you will always be,
My priority,
My goal and mission,
To live and guard,
To love and bliss,
Our stolen time together,
And our unassuming and heart maiming time apart,
For your hand will be warm in mine.
