Scrutinizing just where do I stand
Why attitudes reflect a magician’s slight of hand
Are you Black or White, or just a man?
A citizen of the earth, or loyal to a particular parcel of land
The venom and hate that continues to rise
Remnants of intolerance from the wicked and wise
Preserved to underline the unmerciful truths
To the elite and the powerful we are disposable tools
Pawns to sacrifice as “heroes of war”
As Bankers and Politicians tally the score
Human chips sacrificed on deadly games of chance
Programmed and manipulated, without perspective or stance
Look and observe how he positions you against me
How he shrewdly influences every sector of society
The cowardly attacks against Central Americans and Mexicans
Resemble a long standing policy towards the descendents of Africans
Maintained through the images and rhetoric of a bias, and callous press
And as we squabble and fight they continue to ridicule every one of us
We are all victims of this enormous charade
Bitching and moaning while the wealthy gets paid
Looting and pillaging this land of opportunity
Stifling the masses with words like God, Country, and Democracy
At only ten percent of the population, how can you reasonably believe?
The never ending list of stereotype and lies used to disparage me
STOP…. Take these things into consideration
America’s misfortunes are a boom for “Corporations”
A superpower unable to offer its citizens a proper education
Is it “We the People”, or Israel that controlling this Nation?
So as they rile us up to battle each other
Based on language, ethnicity, class, and color
Remember, we are all the victims of this evil charade
Protesting and fighting, as the wealthy gets paid
Scrutinizing just where do you stand
Why philosophies reflect a clever slight of hand
Are you loyal to humanity, or to a particular parcel of land?
Are you limited by race and propaganda, or are you a man?
