Come With Me Poem by Mustafa Marconi

Come With Me

Come with me to a place called heaven
Come with me to a land of milk and honey
Don’t you worry about anything or anybody
For love shall always be love
And peace shall always be peace
Come with me through these hallow gates
A path so narrow and pure
Do not worry about the past my love
For what is written has been written
And what is right shall always be right
It’s been a long, hard journey
A road filled with flurries of peeks and valleys
Walking on a line so fine
So sensitive and so demanding
Never wavering when troubled
Or doubting when pressured by life’s circumstances
Always faithful and always understanding
Always humble and always unpretentious
Now come with me my love
Come with me to a land of milk and honey
Where angels sing songs of reverence and praise
Don’t you worry about anything or anybody
For we shall all answer before the high court of the Lord
Come with me through the Pearly Gates
A path so narrow and so pure
For love shall always be love
And the spirit that is love will always be by your side
Let’s pray that we fall neither to earthly nor religious temptations
For what has been written has been written
And what is right shall always be right.
