Confessed Heart Poem by william Megabit

Confessed Heart

I have overlooked your beautiful smiles,
I have carefully strayed from cheery heart,
I have turned a blind sight on these charms

Telling myself they are not at all for me
I have overpowered my furious jealousy
Just to see you happy with a fellow of like

O dear, I am but a fool playing tough
If not hard -to-get, o! Silly me indeed
I am craving your warm embrace

But for your strength I have learnt to be bold
And by your humility I have become strong
I have felt a flash of glee in your gracious smile

Only to tell the day is going to be brighter
Fare you strong my dear heart over thy fear
Love may yet be humble but enjoyed in its folly
