Silly Game (Hard -To- Get) Poem by william Megabit

Silly Game (Hard -To- Get)

I have overlooked your beautiful smiles,
I have carefully strayed from cheery heart,
I have turned a blind sight on these charms
Telling myself they are not at all for me

I have overpowered my furious jealousy
Just to see you happy with another
O dear, I am but a fool playing tough
If not hard-to- get, o! Silly me

I am wishing your warm embrace
But for your strength I've learnt to be bold
And for your humility I have become strong
I have felt the glee in your gracious smile
Only to tell the day is going to be brighter
