Confession Poem by Alexander Foald

Confession

Like a deep night, sweet and tender
Dreams fall upon my pillow, inventing future
I see her in a cloudy sky, dressed in blue ocean
Waving softly at me, while swimming to the sun

Like an innocent child, plain and pure
I came by this kind of feeling, I myself was not sure
Was it a mindless curiosity we grow as we know each other,
Or was it just an imaginary view we do see only when we slumber?

And like a silent light, blinding and warm
Love knocks upon my door, asking for a welcome
My lips are shaking in cold, trembling before confession
And by the kiss of the moon, fates collide in our confusion
