Confined Poem by john farr

Confined

Rating: 5.0

In my room the darkness hides,
like a hermit in a cave, it resides,
the lamp in my room, by dark it abides,
like a print in the sand, overrun by the tides.

this is how I feel in my room,
there is no light, only gloom,
no thoughts get out, they are held inside,
deep within my room, they meet their doom,
they meet their doom.
