Confusion Poem by Faeza gilani

Confusion

To me you were,
Just a thought
A kind of a thought
I never thought.
You and I had
Just a thing
A kind of thing
Which had nothing at all.
Between us there was
Just a link
A kind of a link
Which had no link.
To me you were
Just a memory
A kind of a memory
Which I had no memory of.
To me you were
Just a voice
A kind of a voice
Which had no voice at all.
To me you were
Just a dream
A kind of dream
Which I had never remembered
to dream.
So tell me now
Just how to forget?
To forget,
What I had to forget?
When there isn't anything to forget! ! ! ! ! !
