As truth sets in and confusion is gone,
I begin to understand what exactly is going on
Never is there only one, leaving hurt to set in
And lost is my common sense, to which I sin

The feelings I hold for you I cannot explain
Knowledge of the situation leaving me in pain
Having you around me is what keeps me content
But knowing you're taken leaves my heart spent

Someday, I hope, things can be better for us
And we can try it out and hold onto the trust.
Until that day comes where I can hold you near
Remember that my feeling for you are dear.
