Consolidate! Consolidate!
Consolidate; till you make me late
Remembered what you told me yesterday?
We shall celebrate, jubilate when I, you have elevate’
Way-round you turned, mal-administrating me everyday
Now, you’ve come! Consolidate till I’m late.
Giving me a crumb of bread, you said
“So you can have a sense of belonging”
Thereafter you told me that was the dividend of democracy
You frustrated my lofty hopes of living
And now you want to consolidate on that ojorocracy*
I shan’t forget how you brainwashed me with your money
So now when I talk, you take for a lunatic
For the pains and vices you gave me on the journey
I said consolidate till THE POTTER says “Be Static”.
(*'ojoro' is a Nigerian pidgin word for a 'cheater')
