Constant Vigil Poem by wanda Hardwick

Constant Vigil

Angels sit in constant vigil
peering through the stars
overlooking the other planets
even Jupiter and Mars
to watch over
God's children
here on planet three
guarding precious little ones
as their dreams soar free.
The little souls
at bedtime lay
cradled in the arms
of love
smiling
in a most peaceful sleep
underneath
the moonlight deep
that beam down
from
Heaven above.
