Constellations Poem by Troost Avenue

Constellations

In the evening’s fading light
When brightest stars are first seen
I often watch in sheer delight
As dimmer stars come into sight
And celestial courts convene to add
New patterns to night’s sky
New constellations to join the scene
In shapes I find
Most pleasing to my eye
