Conundrum Poem by Tatyana Gubaydullina

Conundrum

On the earth puts Creator
When the slow death comes to
Still the frolicsome nature
When the rustling of leaves
Sounds like Abel's last prayer
And the birds' parting songs
Are heard more and more rare
