Conversations With God Poem by jasmine dugas

Conversations With God

I've done dumb things I can't take back
I've said things that I regret
But you still haven't left my side
Even when I try to hide
Anytime I talk to you, you reminded me let go and let me
When I obeyed that command, my heart went free
He told me to stop complaining And be thankful for what you have
He told me yes life is tough and it'll always be that way
He told me to pick up my head and go on to the next day cause not everyone get to see another day
And then he told me, my child, living is a gift
Live everyday like its your last
Stop living In the past
Soon it'll get better than ever
But now my child, I'll see you later
