Conviction Poem by Houda Boukassoula

Conviction

Sometimes in my life nothing goes right
I feel lost with a harsh lack of insight
Unable to distinguish left from right
My wisdom becomes with no might
My heart and brain get into a fight
With all the strains of life that bite
Someone's still and peaceful foresight
My soul then resorts to conviction
To reach the heart and brain salvation
That eases every pain and life tension
By spreading a feeling of satisfaction
That helps me take the lucid decision.
