Cops & Donuts Poem by John Ackerman

Cops & Donuts

Cops & Donuts

the empire lay beneath a company drain swell inside a living Hell
trace back a dream in the comfort from another left for chance a dirty dance
all right to moisture the touch of the given hand left to understand;
Yes, indeed to wallow among the leaves the treasure to behold
nature lies an increase a billboard for a Tiger rehearsal
run down the flame a burdened shell
tonight the cop with a donut

we shall see him in the outskirts of town;
walking the beat to with hold his charm,
Darkened vanilla away from harm
Kety Perry told you with words alarmed

stretched forth to behold for matters alarmed
